The BBC Learning section offers a wide range of learning opportunities where you can teach yourself new skills in various subjects such as; Computers, Languages, History, Gardening etc.

Breaking the Barriers is a team within Leicestershire County Council providing support for working age young people and adults who have experienced accident, injury, illness or a disability and wish to begin, maintain or return to work.

Leicestershire County Council in partnership with other organisations have many projects based around the County to provide training for people with a disability, learning difficulties or unemployed and wanting to retrain.

These projects are based in Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley and Coalville and offer training in warehousing, computers, customer care, van driving, retail skills, textiles, catering, woodworking and many more.
