The Health and Safety Executive website provides guidance and information on various workplace health and safety issues covering areas such as nuclear installations and mines, factories, farms, hospitals and schools, the movement of dangerous goods and substances, railway safety, and many other aspects of the protection both of workers and the public.

This service is free and independent. You can learn about your rights and where to get advice and help, submit, escalate and resolve complaints online, find out how to complain about any issue, share info using our message boards.  It has useful categories such as:

A free service to stop a lot of the unrequested advertising material addressed to you personally (junk mail).  You can register your address and they will stop these people sending you material - you can also register to stop direct mail being sent tosomeone who has died. It will not stop market research and companies who are not selling directly.
