The Google local search facility will help you find names and contact details of local plumbers, decorators, builders etc. in your area.  For example enter the following: -

In the 'what' box enter 'Plumber'.
In the 'where' box enter either your postcode, road/street name or the area you live in.

The Thomson Directory provides the same type of search as Yellow Pages but does not refine the search down to town level. Search for example "Plumbers" in "Market Harborough" and you will see name, address, phone number and a map. You can also see similar services such as 'Kitchen Installation'.

By entering your postcode you can see a wide range of services in your local area - from restaurants to houses for sale. Links include local transport, council contacts, charities and shopping. This site does not provide links to every website but is very useful for addresses and phone numbers.
