The aim of the Group is to promote the enjoyment of Audio Visual Programmes, the presentation of digital photographs with an accompanying soundtrack. We aim to inform and inspire as well as entertain. We have a full programme of events with presentations and lectures from members and visiting speakers, competitions, and "how to do it" evenings where members can receive tuition and support, from basic photographic skills to advanced methods of making Audio Visual productions. We provide a forum for discussion, and offer tutorials and workshops for the development and enhancement of digital photographic skills, soundtrack construction, and the production of audio visual programmes. We encourage members to present their work to the group, to the general public and charitable organisations, and to enter national and international competitions. We host Distinctions Award Days and encourage members to have their work recognised by the awarding bodies.
