Serves the needs of older people, particularly those who are frail or have mental health problems or learning disabilities. Responsible for a range of services across the community and campaigns on behalf of older people. Services include: day care, health promotional activities, luncheon clubs, information and advice services, neighbourhood care work, campaign projects, carer support groups, a residential and nursing-home advisory service and day care for frail and/or confused older people with learning disabilities and for Asian elders.
