Monthly meetings, during the months from October to April, with an invited speaker giving a talk usually illustrated with slides. Topics include all aspects of the transport based preservation scene, including railways, buses, lorries and tractors, road, steam and traction engines,fairground, canals etc. Members include those who own and restore vintage/veteran equipment and those who just like old junk. The society provides an opportunity to meet like-minded people in a friendly social event in those dark winter nights when the summer's rallies etc have come to an end.
