Age UK supports people over 50.  They provide advice, information and services, ensuring that older people get the most from life.


Age UK Advice Line: 0800 169 6565.

Benefits Now enables you to assess yourself for Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance before you apply. You can find out whether you qualify and at what rate you are likely to be paid.

There is also a useful online shop for buying aids to help round the house and garden.

The Disability Alliance believes it is unacceptable that thousands of disabled people in the UK live in poverty. Their aim is to break the link between poverty and disability.
